Hello, Dear Readers!
It’s been a ridiculous amount of time since I last posted anything. After the last post in May 2025, I had an orthopaedic crisis (hip failure) that forced me to re-home my summer ceremonies to other officiants. I am forever grateful to them for picking up the extra work. That is certainly one of the perks of all Seasons Weddings – there will always be emergency coverage. For a few of the weddings, I had already prepared the ceremonies, so that was a bonus for the substitutes!
The summer of 2025 was a time of pain and good drugs. October 2025 brought the installation of the new hip, great relief in pain, improved mobility, a bit of a drug dependency to overcome. It was a weird time.
Spring 2026 brought a return to wedding ceremonies and a big boost in my morale because I was back doing the work that I love. It also heralded a new season of MANY opinions and observations about the wedding world. Stay tuned to read about them. They will be published in no particular order, just what’s top of mind. (I also have to remember how to work my website!)
